Location, location, location
The mountain village of Brand is fantastically situated at the end of the Brandner Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in the Eastern Alps, at an altitude of approx. 1,000 metres. The small village with just over 700 inhabitants lies at the foot of the Schesaplana in the Rätikon Mountains in the south of Vorarlberg on the border to Switzerland.Here you will find a second home - your holiday home!
Thanks to our central location in the village and the immediate proximity to the village cable car, ski slopes, golf course and tennis court, natural swimming lake, animal adventure trail and much more, you can simply park your car at the beginning of your stay at the Sarotla and consciously enjoy your holidays car-free.

Arrival by car
While you are on the A14 Rhine Valley motorway coming from Germany, take exit 58 "Brandnertal", coming from the direction of the Arlberg tunnel or Arlberg pass, take the exit "Bludenz/Bürs". Then keep left to follow the main road into Brandnertal! Brand and the Hotel Sarotla, located directly opposite the village railway, can be reached from the motorway in less than 20 minutes.
Please note that the Rheintalautobahn A14 and the Arlbergschnellstraße S16 are subject to vignettes. Vignettes are available at all petrol stations or directly at the respective border crossing.
Arrival by train
Take the train to Bludenz station, where international trains also stop. From there, continue either by bus (line L81 to the Dorfbahn Brand stop) or by taxi for around EUR 35 to our hotel in Brand. Timetable of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB).
