Landlord Lothar Schedler grew up here in the Sarotla with his parents Elfriede and Wilfried and with his siblings Werner and Susanne. At that time, his parents ran a bed and breakfast with a bowling alley attached - a popular meeting place for young people and clubs from all over the region. In his youth, Lothar had devoted himself to skiing before he followed his heart's desire at the age of 24 and joined his parents' business.
Over the years, the small family-run guesthouse has evolved into the ****Hotel Sarotla - with spa area, panorama restaurant and the après-ski hangout Heuboda - which Lothar runs in the third family generation and with a great deal of passion and sensitivity for the wishes of the guests.
