TOBOGGANING AND SLEDGING
The four toboggan runs and the night tobogganing on Tuesday and Thursday evenings are a great way to get around the curves. The toboggan safari from Brand to Bürserberg combines leisurely walks through atmospheric snow-covered forests with rapid descents - unforgettable!
A special tip: our mountain experience evening. On the ride with the village and panorama cable car you will marvel at Brand at night. After a little warm-up, we whizz down into the valley on the illuminated toboggan run.
And the best thing about it: it's free for our guests!
FURKLA-ALTITUDE HIKE
Directly opposite our Hotel Sarotla, the village cable car takes you on your way. Change to the panorama cable car once and then really start your winter hike on the Burtschasattel. You hike to the Parpfienzsattel and from there to the Furklaalpe. Highlights of the scenically impressive high-altitude hike are the views of the Zimba and our mountain world adorned with snow.
SCHATTENLAGANTWEG
"Schattenlagant" in Brand is a beautiful valley that is almost untouched in winter. Hike from the Hotel Sarotla to the Palüdbahn car park at the end of the village and continue left along the Alvierbach stream. The hiking trail continues up through the enchanting winter landscape to above the "Untere Schattenlagantalpe".
Make yourself comfortable in the hut, that is simply part of a perfect winter day. You can then quickly sledge down to the valley or hike back the same way to enjoy the tranquillity of the winter world once again.
